was born in Sussex in 1942. From 1959-1964 he studied painting at Hull College of Art. He has exhibited professionally for thirty years. His first Solo exhibition was in London in 1973. He has also had Solo exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, and Boca Raton, Florida David Remfry is a Member of the Royal Watercolour Society and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. His work is in the National Portrait Gallery: Portraits of Sir John Geilgud and the Couturier Jean Muir, The Victoria and Albert Museum, Middlesbrough Museum and Art Gallery, Minneapolis Museum of Art. U.S.A., Swarthmore College, Pennsylvania, U.S.A., Art Gallery of Boca Raton, Florida, U.S.A. and Museo Rayo, Columbia. David Remfry has had 11 Solo exhibitions at the Mercury Gallery. |
